Some couples love to be fully involved in every aspect of the planning process. They prefer to meet with every vendor individually, select the one they like best and work through the details with them. They want to be hands-on on all aspects including planning the actual day programme, finalizing the guest list, appointing their helpers, preparing the seating plan and ensuring the actual day runs properly. This definitely can fun and rewarding, but not all couples enjoy this process.

Other couples may prefer to be involved in a different way. They have ideas about their dream wedding, and they need to be involved in the decision-making process, but are not particularly fond of meeting each and every vendor decide which vendor to engage. They are not keen to coordinate the RSVP, plan the seating arrangement or manage sudden surprises. They are willing to pay an extra just to have someone manage the details to their wedding.

If you are the latter, then hiring a wedding planner may just be the option for you. A good and experienced planner will deal with the nitty-gritty details that you may not enjoy. He / she will know which vendor will best deliver the products that suit your wedding style. He / she will relieve you, your family and your friends the ardous tasks of ensuring the actual day runs without a hitch.

Consequently, you will be able to relax and enjoy your day better.

There is not absolute answer to this. Our advice? Go with what you are most comfortable with.
