Chocolates and candies are always fun to give as wedding favours. What would make them prettier would be the packaging that they are given in!
One of the cuter favour packaging I personally like are pillow favour boxes. They are not that easy to find, mind you. So if you have to have ‘em, why not DIY ‘em?
You can opt to DIY it totally from scratch by using our pillow favour box template here or purchase pre-cut pillow boxes.
If you intend to use the template, here’s what you need to do first to get your pillow box:
- Download our pillow favour box template here. You’ll need to be our member to download this. (Go on and register! It’s free!)
- Scale the size of the pillow box using your computer
- Print this out on a piece of paper or card stock
- Using a pair of scissors, trim along the solid lines. This now serves as your template.
- Place your newly created template over your favourite card stock
- Trim the out the shape of the pillow box using your scissors
- Using a nib of a used ball-point pen (with no ink) run it along the dotted lines to form the crease lines.
- Ta-da! You have your favour box template.
Here’s an easy way out. Just prepare the following:
- Pre-cut pillow boxes. We had these cut using a machine. We also found that The Ola Store by Ola Designs sells pre-cut pillow boxes on their webstore.
- Double-sided tape
- A pair of scissors
- Some ribbons
- A favour tag (optional)
Again, we managed to get these custom printed ones from The Ola Store by Ola Designs.
All you have to do is fold along the pre-scored fold lines,
add the double-sided tape to the flap and stick it down.
Add your candies, some pretty ribbons and a custom tag. Voila! You have a gorgeous wedding favour to wow your guests!
Have fun!
Hey there, You’ve done a fantastic job. I will definitely digg it and for my part recommend to my friends. I’m confident they’ll be benefited from this web site.
