As you would already know from the name, the 2 key ingredients are honey and yoghurt.

What’s great about the ingredients?

Yoghurt contains enzymes and also lactic acid. These keeps the skin soft, smooth and hydrated. Yoghurt also posses some antibacterial property and this can keep your skin really clean.

Honey is a good humectant and is great for moisture depleted skin. Manuka honey in particular, has great antibacterial properties. Adding Manuka honey to the yoghurt will keep the pimples at bay and soothe inflamed skin, if any.

The Honey Yoghurt DIY Mask recipe

1 heaped tablespoon of yoghurt
1/2 teaspoon of honey

Add 1/2 teaspoon of honey to 1 heaped tablespoon of yoghurt. Mix throughly. Apply generously to cleansed face. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.

Your skin will feel more hydrated, smoother and bouncy!

One piece of advice though: If you are trying this mask for the first time, always remember to test a small bit at the jawline or somewhere inconspicuous on the face. Leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing off. This will help you check if your skin is sensitive to the ingredients. We did not experience any issues while using the mask. However, everyone’s skin is different and can react differently to the ingredients.
